Modules

Within Basketball New Zealand’s coaching development framework, formal coaching development uses learning modules.

These will eventually cover the full range of learning experiences for each knowledge level (beginning, practising and advanced), within all three basketball coaching communities (participation, development and elite).

These modules are either facilitated or self-completed. The self-completed will all be introduced on this website, with the next two modules - following on from the Coaching Safety Net and Coaching Starter Pack - now available to be downloaded from this page. Complete the modules at your own speed.

If you wish to be credited with completing one of these modules contact your Regional Coach & Player Development Officer (RCPD).

You will have to show them a copy of the completed module and they will then notify the BBNZ office. Please note, to be credited with the completion of any module you must first complete the Coaching Starter Pack.

In addition to the modules, there are six resource chapters that have been developed to provide further information to help you complete different modules.
