The Emerging Junior Tall Blacks & Tall Ferns are preparing for the 2011 U17 FIBA Oceania Championships (Canberra, 22-24 September). This is a qualification tournament for 2012 FIBA U17 World Championships in Lithuania.

Eligibility Criteria
To participate in the Emerging Junior Tall Blacks and Emerging Junior Tall Ferns, athletes must:
a) Be a legal citizen of New Zealand;
b) Have not represented any other country in an official FIBA competition; and
c) Be born in 1995 or later.
