Loe shot to international prominence as the Junior Tall Black star at the 2009 U19 FIBA World Championship for Men in Auckland, averaging 18.8 points while shooting 60% from the field and 57% from the arc. He was immediately promoted to senior international ranks for the Tall Blacks’ tour of Europe and played in their Oceania Championship victory over the Boomers. Last year, he played for the World team at the Nike Hoops Summit, before beginning a scholarship at St Louis University.
