Vucinic represented New Zealand through the junior ranks and was a four-year tournament team selection at the NZ Secondary Schools Championships 2006-09. In her first year of a scholarship at Lousianna Tech, she earned the Lady Techster Award for best exemplifying what the programme was all about. Last year, Vucinic debuted for the Tall Ferns in Japan, following in the footsteps of mother/former Tall Fern Tatjana Zizic and father/former Tall Black/current national team coach Nenad Vucinic. She returned from the US this year to help Nelson Sparks finish runners-up in the Women’s Basketball Championship.
