Originally from Rotorua, Jennings has represented New Zealand through the junior age groups and spent two years at Dodge City Community College before gaining a scholarship at Memphis.
In her first year with the Tigers - her junior year - she led the team with 11.9 points (42.1% FG, 37.1% 3pt, 84.9% FT) and was named Offensive MVP.
Jennings made her Tall Fern debut on the 2007 tour to Japan.
