Kingi helped Tonga to fourth place at the 2003 Oceania Games and the following year, was a member of the Avondale College team that won the NZ Secondary Schools title in 2004.
She debuted for the Tall Ferns in Japan in 2007 and was selected after several outstanding performances for Harbour in the WomenÃs Basketball League.
Kingi has signed with the Christchurch Sirens for their debut season in the Australian WNBL.
