Edmondson has represented New Zealand through the age groups, including the NZ U21 Tall Ferns last year.
She is also an accomplished volleyball player and was called into the Tall Ferns squad for her international debut in China when Charmian Purcell withdrew from the tour with a knee injury.
Edmondson was named on the tournament team at the 2007 NZ U21 Championships.
