Cameron back with Saints

Tall Blacks legend Pero Cameron has recommitted to the Wellington Saints as head coach for another year.
In 2010, Cameron led the Saints to their first NBL championship since 2003, which earned him the Wellington Coach of the Year title and the Saints Team of the Year.
With a successful and proven track record, Cameron led the Saints to their second championship in 2011, repeating as Wellington Team of the Year too.
After losing key players at the beginning of the 2012 season, Cameron rebuilt his team to earn a spot in the TAB Final Four weekend. In a nail-biting overtime game against the HBS Bank Hawks, the Saints secured a spot in the Grand Final against the Auckland Pirates, where they narrowly missed out on a three-peat of titles.
Cameron has just completed a NZ U20’s camp in Auckland, where he is the head coach.
Next year’s Bartercard NBL is expected to start in April.
