Basketball New Zealand is pleased to present its ongoing series of national championship coaching clinics.
The 2007 Oreo U21 National Championship Coaching Clinic will feature Basketball New Zealand coaching & development manager Ollie Dudfield and Scenic Circle Canterbury Rams coach Chris Sparks.
Man-to-Man Defensive Adjustments to Limit Danger Players
Fresh off his Rams victory over the Taranaki Mountain Airs, a win built on limiting the New Plymouth-based team to a meagre 64 points, Sparks will present a clinic focusing on the defensive adjustments coaches can make to limit the effectiveness of key offensive players or systems.
Teaching Offensive Understanding Over Offensive Patterns
Dudfield who will challenge coaches to consider the most effective ways to develop and teach their team offences. Focusing on how to coach as well as what to coach, he will present an innovative approach to teaching team offence.
The 2007 Oreo U21 National Championship Coaching Clinic is free for all coaches.
