Cluster Camps form a key part of BBNZís player, coach and manager pathway, providing opportunities for identification on a national level. They are the entry point for the High Performance programme and are for ìidentifiedî athletes only.

The second round of cluster camps were held over the last weekend of July at four venues across the country, attended by more than 300 athletes and 60 coaches.

The third and final round of camps will take place on November 10 and are open to invited players only. Athletes already in national team programmes are not eligible.

Associations should also encourage coach and staff who have the potential or desire to be involved at a higher level of the sport to apply for the programme. All association coaches are invited to attend the cluster camps and observe the programme, as well as the free coaching clinic held in conjunction with each cluster.

This invitation is not only extended to coaches, but also managers and administrative personnel wishing to be involved with a national programme and observe Basketball New Zealandís managerial and administrative process for camps.

Athletes must send back their registration form and payment by Friday, October 19. Direct enquiries to Seth Weakley via Email or ph 04 498 5960.
