The Christchurch Cougars are seeking applications for positions within the Cougars family.
The CHCH Cougars Academy is taking shape with an enthusiastic and talented group of individuals seeking selection for 2010. They are currently training twice a week under the guidance of the Cougars coaching staff.
The academy is designed to progress the development of promising players to the next level from age group and school basketball. It is providing young talent with an important pathway to the NBL and beyond.
As a Cougars Academy coach, you will impact the careers of young players within the Christchurch area as well as having the opportunity to work alongside and with the elite players from the Cougars 2010 squad.
The Cougars Academy coach(es) will also be involved in game night roles including stats, video analysis and player management.
The Cougars Academy team is intended to participate in either the 2010 Opens or CBL competitions.
Time commitments for this role are negotiable. Either a recent/current playing career at an elite level or current coaching career at age group/high school or beyond are considered key components of a candidate for the above position(s).
