The Conference Basketball League is set to return this season.
After a one-year hiatus, the national second division contest for men will take place as a week-long event at Porirua’s Te Rauparaha Arena in late July.
In their invitation to associations, BBNZ president John Gallaher and chief executive Tim Hamilton described the CBL as “a particularly important national competition”.
“BBNZ is committed to ensuring this league provides a tangible path from junior to national level while retaining talent and potentially attracting talent from other sports codes.
“It also adds to the development pathway for officials as they look for further career opportunities.”
