Hosts Reign
Hosts Harbour Breeze and New Plymouth have secured semifinal spots at the Harbour Invitational Women’s Tournament.
Harbour, the reigning Women’s Conference League champions, defeated their rivals from Taranaki 90-65 on Friday morning to top Section Two unbeaten. Both teams had accounted for Counties Manukau and Waitakere the previous day to establish their playoff claims.
They will be joined in tomorrow’s semis by Waikato Cougars and Otago, although the draw for the knockout round will be finalised after those two teams meet on Friday afternoon.
