Former Basketball New Zealand High Performance head coach Leonard King is off to a winning start in his new professional coaching career, guiding the Mackay Meteors to two victories in the opening rounds of the Queensland Australia Basketball League.
Mackay beat Logan Thunder 110-96 in Round Three over the weekend, after accounting for Gladstone Power 105-93 in the opening week. They enjoyed a bye in Week Two.
