Kiwi point guards Lindsay Tait and Jeremy Kench helped Wollongong Hawks to their first win of the Australian Hummer Championship NBL, overcoming West Sydney Razorbacks 132-109 at home.

Tait, who missed the Hawksí previous game with a dislocated shoulder, came off the bench for 10 points (3/5 FG, 4/6 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and a steal in 23 minutes. Kench logged 12 minutes for three points (1/2 3pt), five assists and a rebound.

For the Pigs, Tall Black centre Tony Rampton had 10 points (2/4 FG, 6/6 FT) and three rebounds in 19 minutes.

New Zealand captain Pero Cameron assisted Gold Coast Blaze to the first home win of their NBL tenure as they overcame Singapore Slingers 97-82.

Cameron, who has been promoted to the starting five with centre Ben Melmeth injured, had 12 points (5/8 FG, 1/3 3pt, 1/2 FT), eight rebounds, four assists and a block in 35 minutes, while fellow Tall Black Casey Frank fouled out after just 12 minutes with four points (1/2 FG, 2/2 FT), three rebounds and an assist.

Waikato Pistons import Jason Crowe accumulated 10 points (4/11 FG, 1/4 3pt, 1/2 FT), six assists, five rebounds and two steals.

Harbour guard Hayden Allen recorded his first minutes in the league for Singapore, hitting a trey in his three points, two rebounds and an assist in 11 minutes.

Singapore completed an unsuccessful Queensland swing with a 106-127 loss to champions Brisbane Bullets. Allen expanded his role in the Slingersí rotation with eight points (3/5 FG, 1/1 3pt, 1/1 FT) and three rebounds in 18 minutes.

Tall Black centre Craig Bradshaw continued his Rookie of the Year bid by leading the Bullets with 22 points (7/13 FG, 8/14 FT), six rebounds, an assist and a steal in 20 minutes off the bench. International team-mate Dillon Boucher had 22 minutes off the bench for two points (1/5 FG), seven rebounds and three assists.
