U Park It Waikato Pistons guard Prem Krishna chalked up 200 NBL games in the 91-89 win over Cartridge World Otago Nuggets last Thursday. Krishna, who debuted for Auckland in 1995, had five points, four rebounds and three steals in 22 minutes.
Pistons forward Mike Homik recorded his 100th NBL appearance in the same game. He debuted for Waikato in 1996.
Blue Chip Nelson Giants forward Mark Jones played his 100th NBL game in the 90-76 home win over Scenic Circle Canterbury Rams last Wednesday. Jones, who debuted for Nelson in 2001, had eight points (3/4 FG, 2/2 FT) in 14 minutes.
Nelson forward Mika Vukona achieved 1000 NBL points when he scored his second basket 2m 24s into the same game. He has now averaged 8.1 points (52% FG) over 126 games.
