The Century City Wellington Saints and Waikato Pistons have confirmed spots in the Dominion Finance NBL Playoffs – and that’s about all we know for sure with two rounds of the regular season remaining.

Five different teams could fill the remaining four spots in the expanded six-team postseason, and in any order, making the final two weeks a fight-to-the-end for home semifinals, home quarterfinals and simply just making the top-six.

The third-placed Appliance Shed Harbour Heat have a half-game lead on the CPS Nelson Giants and Easy LPG Bay Hawks, with the Youthtown Auckland Stars a further half-game back. All four teams sit tied in the loss column with six.
