NBL Sends Site Soaring
And still the records tumble …
Last month’s Bartercard National Basketball League finals have propelled visits to the BBNZ website through the roof, adding 16% to the previous highest monthly record.
In June 2010, the site hosted 71,590 visits, an average of 2386 a day. The previous month had seen an average of 2054.
Wednesday, June 30 – the day of Game Two of the NBL finals – generated a new single-day record 3686, topping the 3544 achieved the day the Tall Ferns played the United States at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
The BBNZ site, built by Catch Design, went on line in March 2007 and has had almost 1.5 million visits since.
