The NZ Tall Blacks, coached by Nenad Vucinic, face a schedule that begins in late June and includes the Olympic qualifying tournament in Athens from July 14-20. If they secure one of the three spots available at that event, the team will proceed to the Beijing Olympics from August 8-24.
The NZ Tall Ferns, coached by Mike McHugh, have already qualified for the Olympics and begin their preparation in early April, contesting the official Olympic test event.
While both schedules have yet to be finalized, they offer the unique opportunity to work with elite international teams at the highest level of competition, and applicants should be equipped to contribute accordingly.
