Pacific Basketball Tour Trials

Pacific Basketball – a co-operation of nine Northern associations – will be hosting trials for under-15 and under-17 basketballers for a January tour to Australia in August and September.
To be eligible for the 11-day tour, which will take in the Sydney Cup and Pacific Coast Slam in Port Macquarie, triallists must be under-15 or under-17 as at December 31, 2009; a registered player within one of the nine member associations; and not selected for the Basketball New Zealand 2009 Koru Tour.
Pacific Basketball is made up of the Northland, Harbour, Waitakere City, Massey, Counties-Manukau, Waikato, Western Bay, Thames Valley and Rotorua basketball associations.
Trials will be held on Saturday, August 16, at St John’s College, Hamilton; Sunday, August 17, at the North Shore Events Centre, Takapuna; on Saturday, September 20, at Trusts Stadium, Waitakere; and Sunday, September 21, at Rotorua Boys’ High, Rotorua.
