It’s never just about the basketball for Tall Blacks and former NZ Breakers star Kirk Penney.
Penney (31) has just completed a whistle-stop visit home to Auckland before taking up his next professional contract in Ankara, Turkey. It was a chance to catch up with family and friends, and hone his game at the Breakers facility on the North Shore.
He can barely pronounce the name of his new team – TED Kolejiller – but Penney is pumped ready for his new challenge.
