Third POW for Efevberha

Century City Saints import Mike Efevberha has been named NZCT National Basketball League Round 12 Player of the Week.
Efevberha stepped up to the plate scoring a game high 39 points (12-21 FG, 3/6 3pt), grabbing 8 rebounds and 3 steals in the 100-86 win over the Waikato Pistons.
POW went to Efevberha back in Rounds One and Five. After his Round 12 performance he also retains the top spot of the Overall Player Power Rankings. Efevberha is averaging 28.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 2.1 steals per game in 13 games.
Other notable performances in Round Twelve were from the Hawks Chuck Bailey, Stars Dillon Boucher and Cougars Trenton Wurtz.
Bailey and the Hawks finally snapped out of a five game losing streak beating the Stars 84-80 securing the final playoff spot. Bailey scored 25 points and grabbed 7 rebounds in the win.
In that same game the Stars Boucher had the stat line of 12 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists.
Cougars Wurtz had a strong performance with a double/double of 17 points and 13 rebounds.
Rookie Guard Corey Webster still remains the league leader in scoring averaging 28.5 points per game, after scoring 27 in the Harbour Heats 83-73 win over the Hawks.
