FIBATV.com is adding to its live basketball content by screening free games from the Australian NBL, albeit not available to local viewers.

The web-based subscriber package also offers playoff games from the newly launched Asean Basketball League (ABL) with FIBA Europe competitions to follow in the coming months.

Territorial restrictions prevent the Australian NBL games from showing to subscribers in Australia or New Zealand.

This new additional content fits FIBA’s strategy of providing basketball from all around the world for fans everywhere. With a total of seven games already being made available over the coming days and many more to come, the platform will be showing live broadcasts on an almost daily basis.

Upcoming free live games include:

Australian NBL - Cairns v Perth, Wednesday, February 3, 9.30pm NZ

Asean Basketball League - KL Dragons v Philippine Patriots, Thursday, February 4, 1am NZ

Asean Basketball League - Satria Muda BritAma v Singapore Slingers, Thursday, February 4, 2am NZ

Asean Basketball League - Singapore Slingers v Satria Muda BritAma, Sunday, February 7, 9pm NZ

growing archive of games from past FIBA events, highlights and interviews, as well as live
streaming of games that will include the 2010 FIBA World Championships for Men and
