Basketball New Zealand has a great opportunity available for a talented coordinator with proven organisation and communication skills.

The purpose of the role is to provide administration and coordination in operating the BBNZ national tournament programme.

Key functions of the role include:

  • Organising the annual tournament schedule
  • Logistical preparation for all BBNZ national tournaments
  • Generating draws and results and database maintenance using a specialised computer programme
  • Coordination and communication with the NZ basketball community of all logistics regarding BBNZ tournaments

To be successful in this role, you will have two-plus years coordination/administration experience and prior event coordination experience, ideally in the sporting arena. You will have advanced Microsoft office skills, good time management and a proactive customer service approach. You will have an interest in administrating sport in New Zealand and ideally have an interest in basketball.

The role is full time and is based in the BBNZ head office in Wellington.
