Coverage of the 2007 Dominion Finance NBL finals will break new ground, now available via the internet through live webcasting.
Live stats and play-by-play descriptions of the oncourt action can now be accessed through the website of Cybersports, the US-based company that manufactures the statistical programme used for all NBL games.
The service was test driven during last weekís semifinals and came through with flying colours, providing an alternative medium for anyone not near a TV (SKY Sport 1) or radio (Radio Sport) during the best-of-three championship series.
Simply click on the links provided on the BBNZ NBL home page. The webcast page for each game will be available about 30 minutes before tip-off.
In an extra twist, a live free-to-air telecast will also be available Ö if you happen to live on an island somewhere in the South Pacific.
Several Pacific nations show TVNZ programmes on their local stations and will receive the NBL finals in a package negotiated with SKY. Those countries are Cook Island, Samoa, American Samoa, Tonga, Nauru and Kiribati.
