WNBL playing stocks have filled the Australian Gems squad named this week ahead of the 2012 FIBA U19 Oceania Championships.
A total of six WNBL players have been named in the squad that will travel to New Zealand aiming to book their place in the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship.
Leading the talent-filled squad is 2012 Betty Watson WNBL Rookie of the Year Carley Mijovic, who capped off a great season with the AIS by signing with her hometown club Dandenong Rangers for the upcoming campaign.
