Basketball New Zealand welcomes and encourage officials to work with us in the development of basketball through their performance at Basketball New Zealand tournaments and events.

To be considered for these you must be graded as a “National Tournament Referee”. Please find attached the Basketball New Zealand Referee Structure detailing how to obtain this grading. Referee Structure Basketball NZ 2013 PDF
All referees must be registered with Basketball New Zealand to attend a National Tournament. To register, please use this link to access the BBNZ Referee Online Registration and Payment System.
Please note: whilst the system will accept your registration without payment, you will not be considered a Registered Referee until the registration fee has been paid.
Officials for the National Championships will be appointed and invited to attend by Basketball New Zealand.
