Jared Harper leads Hapoel Jerusalem to upset over previously unbeaten Bahcesehir
How the game unfolded
Hapoel Jerusalem rode a strong start to a 90-82 road win over Bahcesehir, handing the Turkish side its first defeat of the EuroCup campaign. The visitors came out aggressive on both ends and built a sizable advantage in the second quarter, at one point leading 48-34, though Bahcesehir closed the half with a short run to cut the gap.
The second half turned into a battle. Bahcesehir found its rhythm and even grabbed an 80-79 lead with under three minutes to play, but Jared Harper and Austin Wiley stepped up down the stretch to swing the game back in Jerusalem’s favor. Harper finished as the top scorer with 27 points, Justin Smith added 16, and Wiley recorded a solid double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds. On the other side, Malachi Flynn poured in 28 points along with five rebounds and five assists, while Trevion Williams posted 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Elsewhere in the round, Neptunas picked up a 100-87 home victory over Manresa. James Karnik led the winners with 25 points and 13 rebounds, Donatas Tarolis contributed 20, and Arnas Velicka had a strong all-around showing. Retin Obasohan paced Manresa with 18 points.
Looking ahead, Bahcesehir will travel to face Aris in the next round, while Hapoel Jerusalem return home to host Neptunas as both teams aim to build momentum in the seventh round of the EuroCup.
