The biggest surprise came in Bourg, where Trento upset the home favourites. Andrej Jakimovski put on a masterclass, pouring in 30 points, grabbing seven rebounds and shooting 10-of-15 from the floor. Peyton Aldridge added 15 points and nine rebounds for Trento, while Both Gach was Bourg’s top scorer with 20.
Trento move to 5–5 after the victory. Bourg sit at 8–2, level with Besiktas, making the fight for first place in the group look set to stay intense. Looking ahead, Bourg head to Turk Telekom next, and Trento will welcome Buducnost in their upcoming round.
