Los Angeles forward Jarred Vanderbilt released a video showing life off the court during the team’s four-day mini-camp in Slovenia, which was organized and paid for by Luka Don0di07. The footage captures the group hanging out, joking together, playing golf, riding bikes, eating, swimming in a lake and meeting fans, but it also shows plenty of on-court work — the players made it clear they were there to build chemistry and improve ahead of the season.
Bonding, roster continuity and a player’s take
The clips highlight a close connection forming between Vanderbilt and Don0di07, which could help with leadership and cohesion as the season approaches. Vanderbilt is one of several returning players who will carry continuity into the next year alongside Don0di07, Austin Reaves, Jake LaRavia, Bronny James, Dalton Knecht and Adou Thiero.
Georgian forward Sandro Mamukelashvili praised the trip as a perfect chance for the new-look group to gel, noting the thoughtful planning, the many sights they saw in Ljubljana, and how quickly the newcomers felt part of the unit. The team will open the NBA season on October 21 against the Golden State Warriors.
