Charlotte Hornets vs Chicago Bulls – Preview & Prediction (Nov. 28, 2025)

Game preview

The Charlotte Hornets host the Chicago Bulls on Friday night in what should be an interesting clash. Charlotte has struggled through a rough stretch after a promising start, while Chicago has been a bit up-and-down despite flashes of strong play.

The Hornets began the season with a couple of early wins, but injuries and inconsistent form followed. They’ve dropped most of their games since that bright opening and come into this matchup on a seven-game losing streak, sitting near the bottom of the East with a 4–14 record. Recent outings included a close loss to Atlanta and a heavy defeat to New York, where Brandon Miller and Miles Bridges were among the few bright spots offensively.

The Bulls opened the year hot with a long winning run, then hit a slump of their own. They’ve bounced back somewhat and currently sit around the middle of the conference at 9–8. Defensively they’ve had trouble recently — allowing 140-plus in multiple games — and their form has been patchy in the last handful of contests. Ayo Dosunmu and Coby White have been scoring consistently, but the team must tighten up on defense.

Matchups, injuries and prediction

Head-to-head, Chicago had the edge last season and they’ll be looking to carry that momentum into this meeting. The Hornets are dealing with some absences: Josh Green and Grant Williams are out, and Pat Connaughton is listed as questionable. The Bulls also have several injury concerns, with Zach Collins out and Coby White, Patrick Williams, Nikola Vucevic, Dalen Terry, Isaac Okoro, Trentyn Flowers and Kevin Huerter all questionable.

Given the difference in depth and recent results, Chicago enters as the favorite. If they can shore up the defense even slightly and get reliable scoring from their guards, they should be able to handle Charlotte on the road. Expect a Bulls win in a game that may still be competitive in stretches.

Tip-off: Friday, 7:30 p.m. EST, November 28, 2025.
