Los Angeles Clippers vs Sacramento Kings – Preview & Prediction (Mar. 14, 2026)

Game preview

The Los Angeles Clippers come in hot after a string of wins, including a 119-108 victory over the Chicago Bulls. That marked their fourth straight win and the seventh in eight games, pushing their record to 34-32 and into the eighth spot in the Western Conference. The Clippers are playing their fourth straight game at home and have picked up steam after a slow start to the season.

Kawhi Leonard has been the driving force lately, shouldering a heavy scoring load and putting up big numbers — 29, 30, 28, 29, 45 and 28 in his last six outings. He’s looked especially efficient in some of those games, and his form has made the Clippers a real threat on offense. Rookie addition Bennedict Mathurin has also stepped up as a secondary scoring option, delivering some strong performances over the past few matchups. Over the last ten games the Clippers’ offense ranks among the league’s best, though their defense still has room to tighten up.

The Sacramento Kings have had a rough season and sit near the bottom of the West with a 16-51 record, but they’ve shown flashes of improvement recently. They picked up wins against the Chicago Bulls and Indiana Pacers at home before dropping a game to the Charlotte Hornets. DeMar DeRozan has been the standout for Sacramento, pouring in 39 points in the recent loss and moving up the NBA all-time scoring list in the process.

Injuries have been a factor for the Kings and that’s influenced their decision to give more minutes to younger players as the season winds down. Some rotation pieces have been inconsistent, and while a motivated underdog can cause trouble, depth and production beyond DeRozan remain concerns.
