Hapoel Jerusalem sign Shake Milton as club steps up its roster build
Milton’s background and recent move
Hapoel Jerusalem have confirmed the signing of American guard Shake Milton, adding another experienced piece to Sasa Obradovic’s squad ahead of the new season. The 29-year-old, who stands 1.96 meters tall, arrives in Israel after a seven-season stint in the NBA and a first taste of European basketball last summer.
Milton was selected in the 2018 NBA Draft and began his pro career with the Philadelphia 76ers, spending five seasons there before stints with Minnesota, Detroit, New York, Brooklyn and Los Angeles. Across 359 regular-season NBA games he averaged 8.1 points, 2.2 rebounds and 2.4 assists, and he also appeared in 40 playoff games.
In the summer of 2025 Milton made his first move overseas, joining Partizan. In the ABA League he averaged 12.8 points, 2.2 rebounds and 3.0 assists, while in the EuroLeague his numbers were 6.9 points, 1.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game.
