Lietkabelis Upsets Ulm; Venezia Dominates Neptunas in EuroCup Round 12
EuroCup Round 12 recap
Lietkabelis pulled off a solid road win over Ulm, 89–79. Michael Flowers led the winners with 26 points, while Ulm’s top scorers were Mark Smith (18) and Christopher Ledlum (15). Both teams were missing key pieces heading into the game, and the result shuffled the mid-to-lower end of the Group A table. Up next, Ulm travel to face Besiktas and Lietkabelis host Bourg.
In the other Group A matchup, Venezia rolled past Neptunas 118–103. Kyle Wiltjer paced Venezia with 28 points and Chris Horton added 16, while Rihards Lomazs put up 28 for Neptunas. Venezia sit around the middle of the group after the win, and Neptunas remain in the hunt but need to tighten up on defense if they want to climb the standings.
