Galatasaray bus attacked after overtime loss to Bursaspor
Attack on the team bus
After their Round 10 Turkish Super League game, Galatasaray’s team bus was attacked by unknown individuals while returning from Bursa to Istanbul. Stones were thrown at the vehicle, causing significant damage and forcing the team to wait for a replacement before continuing the trip. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. The club confirmed the incident and shared photos and video on social media.
Match result and what’s next
Earlier the team fell 91–87 in overtime to Bursaspor, dropping to 6–4 in domestic play. They will host Merkezefendi in Round 11 on Friday. Galatasaray also have one remaining FIBA Champions League game against Igokea on December 17, but they have already secured a spot in the Round of 16, so that fixture will not affect their qualification.
