Cory Joseph Signs with Olympiacos for Remainder of Season
Deal details
Veteran guard Cory Joseph has left Monaco and will join Olympiacos for the rest of the season, the club has confirmed. Joseph originally signed with Monaco in December 2025 but couldn’t be registered at the time because of a transfer restriction on the club. With Monte Morris sidelined for an extended period and Frank Ntilikina’s availability up and down, Olympiacos moved to add Joseph as extra depth in the backcourt.
There was reported interest from other Greek sides, but Olympiacos secured the 34-year-old to bolster their roster as they chase success in the EuroLeague.
What he brings to the team
Joseph spent 14 seasons in the NBA and arrives with plenty of experience. He’s a steady playmaker who can relieve pressure on the starters, handle late-clock situations and chip in scoring when needed. Last season he was with the Orlando Magic, appearing in 50 games and averaging 3.5 points in about 12.2 minutes per contest.
Head coach Georgios Bartzokas now has another reliable option at guard as Olympiacos looks to strengthen its rotation and make a deeper push in the EuroLeague this season.
